About Us

Established in 1999, Hyperlink has been providing IT and Internet-related services to a variety of commercial and non-profit organisations including Amnesty International Irish Section, Breastcheck (NBSP), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in Ireland, Frontline Defenders, Irish Family Planning Association, Irish Red Cross, Leargas, National Youth Council of Ireland, National Social Work Qualifications Board (NSWQB), One Family, Ovation, SIPTU, Team Events, The Wheel, WRC.

Hyperlink combines many years of expertise in providing online communications services to the voluntary and community sector in Ireland. We have worked on projects of different kinds and sizes, from simple websites, developed in html, to more complex database-driven sites which provide online content management tools and secure online transaction capabilities.

We believe that every project requires specific solutions that can only be achieved by working in close partnership with the organisation concerned. Our final aim is to provide our clients with the most suitable technology for their online requirements.

Our directors:

Conor Murray is a graduate of Computer Science in TCD and has worked with Information technology since the 1980s. He has worked for and in conjunction with many Irish non-profit organisations, including Amnesty International. He has a particular interest in organisations that promote and defend human rights. He founded Hyperlink in 1999.

[Giancarlo Ramaioli passed away on the 26th of May 2009, after a long illness]
Giancarlo Ramaioli has extensive experience as a designer for print and electronic media. As a graphic designer he worked with various client including The Dublin Theatre Festival, INOU, Cork Film Festival, Children’s Rights Alliance, Inner City Employment Service, Trocaire, Cuidiu. In 1995 he co-founded the Public Communications Centre where he was responsible for the management and development of Internet services for non-profit organisations. Giancarlo joined Hyperlink in July 2001. He is responsible for the setting up and management of www.activelink.ie and for Community Exchange.
